| WHO
ARE WE?
In 1779, the baron of Sabadossa
built a neoclassical edifice in Carrer de Canuda. Later, due
to financial problems, the building was divided into what today
is the Ateneo Barcelonés (one of the seats of the University)
at number 6, and the part of the building at number 4, bought
by Mr Josep Sola who handed it over as Casal del Exercitant
(religious house), starting this way its path to turn itself
into a hostel. Its first guests were ecclesiastics and people
from the province, then from all the country, and finally from
all over the world.
Hostal Campi keeps on serving
its guests with dedication in a familiar environment. Its staff
is made of people coming from all over the world, always committed
to presenting a smile, to going towards any need customers may
have, to doing their best to make their stay in Barcelona comfortable
and relaxed. As witnessed by a golden plate situated in the
reception, in 1989 Hostal Campi was awarded by "Gremi d’Hotels
of Barcelona" for its 50 years of commitment and passion
towards its visitors and tourists.
